Heres Our First Look At Vivos Galaxy Z Flipstyle Foldable

Since Oppo launched the Find N2 Flip in February, the foldable race has changed somewhat, giving Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip range some serious competition. Similarly, the Oppo Galaxy Z Flip 4 competitor aims to be more compact, although its main selling point is the larger 3.26-inch cube display, which is 1.9 inches larger than the external display. Vivo, Oppo's sister company under the BBK umbrella, may also use the same formula, if an apparent official photo is anything to go by.

The latest leak comes from Digital Chat Station, who posted an image of Chinese actor Wang Ziwen on Weibo holding what appears to be the Vivo X Flip (via 9to5Google ). The image is consistent with the recently leaked schematics of the phone, which shows a large clamshell display in landscape orientation. Also, the external display appears to have a 16:9 aspect ratio, unlike the portrait orientation of the Oppo Find N2 Flip.

Either way, the larger overlay screen means more information can be seen without having to open the device. It's useful when you want to check the weather or need a camera viewfinder to take a selfie, among other use cases. It's significantly larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 4's external display, suggesting that Vivo is chasing Samsung's crown.

A large camera island is located under the display of the lid, and if the diagram is correct, Vivo could install two lenses in the configuration. Vivo may use Zeiss branding for the X Flip's camera, just like it did with the Vivo X90 series.

It's worth noting that this is the first time we've seen an actual photo of Vivo's foldable phone. However, aside from its possible design, little is known about the phone at this point.

On the other hand, previous rumors claimed that the device will have a 6.8-inch display that can run up to 120 Hz. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC is also said to be in the works under the hood. Given that Vivo is expected to launch the X Fold 2 in the second quarter, it stands to reason that the X Flip will carry it.
