Vivo X Fold+ Comes On September 26

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC arrived and many smartphone manufacturers launched their flagships with it soon. Most of them used the opportunity to debut their new smartphone. On the other hand, Vivo plans to launch a new variant of its foldable phone. It will come with the Vivo X Fold+ moniker.

The Vivo X Fold+ competes with the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold4 and Mi MIX Fold2. Both layers have the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Vivo clearly doesn't want to be left behind with the SD8 Gen1 powered by the Vivo X Fold. Thus, the new Plus variant is launched with the latest equipment.

The company says that the device may have a longer life. After all, "+" means "will grow strong". This could be a marketing term, only time will tell. However, the company has confirmed that the new brochure will arrive on September 26. The opening ceremony will be held in China and will start at 19:00 local time.

According to the leak, the Vivo X Fold+ packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will have 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The device has a 4,730 mAh battery, which is great considering the design issues. Moreover, the phone supports 80W charging and 50W wireless charging. The device panel will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Unfortunately, the Vivo X Fold+ may be as exclusive to the Chinese market as its predecessor. For consumers around the world, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip3 are still the only options in the foldable segment.
