Samsung may be preparing for a surprise launch of the Galaxy S24, but owners of Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S23, can now get a 12-month subscription to Disney Plus.
The offer comes from the little-known Samsung Boost Rewards program (spotted byAndroid Authority ) and is a surprisingly generous deal, giving Galaxy users a one-year subscription to the streaming service. It's a better deal than what's offered with free smartphone services, which are typically free for a few months of subscription service. It is also available to many Galaxy owners.
Owners of Samsung phones from the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy S22 series can take advantage of this offer. The full list includes many current and older Samsung phones; Please see related devices below. The only problem is that it is only available to people living in the UK or Ireland.
To claim the offer, visit the Samsung Boost website and scan the QR code and it will show you the discounts and free offers available. Sign in with your Samsung account or device and you will get a Disney Plus promotional code.

It turns out that instead of entering the code during checkout on Disney's website, you have to click on the link created by Samsung and ask you to register. The offer is only for the standard 1080p tier, not the premium version that streams content in 4K.
Samsung offers shorter subscriptions to services like Xbox Game Pass, YouTube Premium, and Adobe Lightroom. Disney Plus shows tend to be long, so it's worth asking. Not offering financing is also a serious problem for most Samsung owners.
If you do not intend to continue your Disney Plus subscription after the trial period, be sure to mark your calendar to cancel or you will automatically be charged the full fee. You can cancel your subscription in the Disney Plus app in your account settings.
If you forget to subscribe and are charged in full, Disney says it can refund your subscription "under certain circumstances." This may be intentionally vague because it is at the company's discretion. But when I forget to cancel my free trial of other services, I always get a refund after contacting the company, so it's worth a try.
Samsung's upgrade program begins in 2021. Initially, it offered discounted subscriptions to the same services, such as Google Play Pass and YouTube Premium. Disney Plus is a new addition and currently has the longest free trial available.
It also competes directly with Apple, which is offering iPhone buyers three months of free Apple TV Plus, which the company launched in 2015.
It's been 12 months since the offer first launched in 2019.
