On Monday , the Vivo V29e was released in India. The Vivo V29e joins the Vivo V29 line and shares specifications with the Vivo V29 Lite 5G that launched globally last June. Like the Lite version, the recently launched Vivo V29e packs a 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. There are two color options and two storage options. In contrast , the Vivo V29e offers significant improvements to the camera.

Vivo V29e offers a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nit peak brightness, and PWM dimming rates up to 360Hz. This dual-SIM nano phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC octa-core, Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. FuntouchOS 13 , based on Android 13 , is preloaded.
The dual rear camera system of the Vivo V29e includes a 64MP main sensor with OIS capabilities, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens , and an LED flash module. The Vivo V29e also has a 50MP selfie camera, which is a huge upgrade over the 16MP front-facing sensor featured on the Vivo V29 Lite .
The Vivo V29e's 5,000mAh battery supports 44W fast wired charging . It supports 5G and 4G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C.
Vivo V29e: price and availability
The price of the Vivo V29e is Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model in India. The Vivo V29e mobile phone is available in two colors: Artistic Blue and Artistic Red. Pre-orders will be accepted in Flipkart and Vivo online stores starting today, August 28th. Starting September 7 , the Vivo V29e will be available at select retail outlets across India.
Vivo V29e arrives just days ahead of the iQOO Z7 Pro release in India. The release date is scheduled for August 31st. Motorola will launch the low-priced Moto G83 with a similar slim design on September 1. The company is already selling a curved screen smartphone with 256GB of storage for under Rs 30,000 ( Motorola Edge 40) . According to the latest IDC data, Vivo leads the Indian smartphone market with a 16% share.
