The Renault Megane E-Tech 2024 will compete with the Kia Niro EV and the Volvo EX30.

Pricing and specifications for the Renault Megane E-Tech have finally been announced for the Australian market ahead of deliveries due to begin later this year.

Only one variant of the Megane E-Tech, the Techno EV60, will be sold in Australia. As the name suggests, this model features a 60kWh Li-ion battery in a 400V system and supports DC fast charging up to 130kW. Renault says the range of around 300 km (186 miles) can be extended in 30 minutes with a DC charger.

This battery pack drives a 160 kW (215 hp) electric motor to the front wheels with 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque and four levels of regenerative braking.
