Redmi Note 12 Pro+: Everything You Need To Know

The new Redmi Note 12 range includes three phones: Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Extreme. Xiaomi is ready to launch its next Note line. The brand will present the Note 12 series in China tomorrow, October 27.

The phone will sport a 6.67-inch 10-bit 240Hz OLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports HDR10+ and DolbyVision. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes with 6GB RAM and is powered by MTK 1080.

As for optics, it comes with an OIS+8+2 MP 200 (HPX) camera. 16 MP front camera. It has a fingerprint scanner. The Note 12 Pro should run Android 12 and be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The Note 12 Pro supports 120W fast charging.

The Note 12 Pro+ is a dual SIM (GSM) phone that accepts Nano-SIM phones. The Note 12 Pro+ is said to measure 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.98mm (H x W x D). It weighs 208.4 grams.

Connectivity options on the Note 12 Pro+ include Wi-Fi 6, GPS, USB Type-C, IR blaster, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). It has 3.5mm jack support. Sensors on the phone are said to include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.

Xiaomi usually launches Note devices in India as soon as it launches in China. The gap could be weeks, but since we're already in the last quarter of the year, the company might as well release it early next year. While Xiaomi has not yet announced the exact launch date for the Redmi Note 12 series, we can expect the device to go on sale three to four days after its October 27 launch.
