Oppo Find N3: Everything You Need To Know
Oppo has been challenging Samsung's dominance in the foldable phone market for some time now.
The flagships Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip have been direct competitors to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, although the larger model's limited global release has kept the Korean giant in the lead so far.
Rumors are currently circulating that give us some clues as to what Oppo might be working on with its next foldable device. Here's everything we know about the Oppo Find N3 so far.
When will Oppo Find N3 be launched?
As you can see from previous generations, Oppo released the Find N models in December.
Oppo Find N2 - December 2022
Oppo Find N - December 2021
In this form, it looks like we will see the Oppo Find N3 in December 2023 . However, the previous two versions were only for China. The smaller Find N2 Flip has received a global release, so there's hope Oppo will give the flips a global push next time, but there are no guarantees.
If it is exclusive to China, the OnePlus V Fold made by the same company is still expected and is expected to have most of the designs and features of an Oppo phone.
How much does Oppo Find N3 cost?
There is no official word from Oppo on the potential price of the N3, but we can check previous catalog entries again for a clue.
・OPPO Find N2 (12GB / 256GB) - 7,999 yen (about $1,150 / £930)
Oppo Find N (8GB / 256GB) - 7,699 yen (about $1,210 / £910)
Since Oppo has kept the prices of the base models low, we hope that this will be repeated for the third generation of the series. Of course, these are prices for China, which means that if you plan to import to other countries, you will have to add various taxes and customs fees.
What new features will we see in the Oppo Find N3?
Oppo has been very vocal about the innovation it could bring to its latest foldable flagship, but some rumors have already surfaced detailing some of the improvements.
new design
What fans of previous models don't like is the Find N3, which recently went online on digital chat site Weibo. One potential source of confusion is that the compact form factor seen in previous iterations could be replaced this time around by a larger design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The poster mentions that the new model will be "super thin" so Oppo could trade it in for a different size.

Large and fast home screen
That can accommodate a large internal foldable panel that GSMArena says goes from the Find N2's 7.1-inch screen to the Find N3's larger 8-inch screen at 2268x2440 resolution and 120Hz frame rate.
Improved Cameras
The Find N3's optics are eye-catching: a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with triple OIS and a 48MP IMX581 ultrawide sensor and a 32MP ultrawide sensor. A triple telephoto lens with periscope zoom completes the look.
In terms of selfie cameras, the Find N3 is expected to have a 20MP camera on the outer display and a 32MP camera on the main bezel.
New chipset and battery
The latest rumors suggest that the phone will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip on top of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Find N2 and replace the battery capacity with a 4805 mAh cell. The N2 has a 4520 mAh battery.
That's all we've seen so far, but of course we'll be updating this article as more details become available. In the meantime, you can see what happened to the Oppo Find N3 by reading our guide to the best Android phones of 2023.
