OnePlus 12 Specs Leak Revealing A Premium Android Phone
When it comes to Android phones, there are several famous names that dominate the field. In recent years, OnePlus can be said to have joined the bandwagon with its range of phones.
A lot of details about their new OnePlus 12 model have now been revealed. The specifications have been obtained by OnLeaks, a well-known whistleblower who publishes renders and specifications of the device ahead of the release date.
It's safe to say that if these details prove true, the OnePlus 12 will be an absolutely killer phone. Let's start with the show. It's a 6.7-inch AMOLED unit with a 2k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In fact, it's no different from the display technology featured on the brand's alleged foldable phone OnePlus Open.
Inside, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected It hasn't been revealed yet, but it should be the successor to this year's much-hyped Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It will be paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage .
Then there's the battery. Expect a massive 5,400mAh cell here, which is well ahead of most of the competition. Combine that with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging and it could be the best option for battery sufferers.
The camera doesn't look sloppy either. OnePlus has been working with Hasselblad for a long time and it looks like it will continue here. The 50MP primary camera is equipped with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP telephoto lens for various photo options. You also get 3x zoom on this telephoto lens. There is also a 32-megapixel front-facing option for selfies.
This is a big update. The OnePlus 11 was a decent phone that I really liked. In fact, the only two things our tester didn't like were the battery life and the zoom option. With updates to the battery capacity and telephoto lens, OnePlus has clearly paid attention.
There is no specific release date for this phone yet. However, based on historical releases, the device is expected to arrive in Asia by the end of the year, with a wider global release a few months later.
