Tecno Camon 20 Premier In For Review
We have a new Tecno Camon 20 Premier in the office, so here's the unboxing before the review team gets to work.
You get a well-equipped package with a quality matte finish, a 45W charger, headphones and a USB-C cable.
Another thing that makes the Tecno Camon 20 Premier special (not the name) is the back cutout. Tecno calls it a deconstructivist jigsaw design and uses "Magic Leather" that's soft yet fingerprint and abrasion resistant. We have the Serenity Blue model and the Black has a glossy finish.
The back surface of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier feels like leather, but it's not as rubbery and grippy as other similar panels we've reviewed. It feels really premium and feels good to the touch, and we'll understand if you leave the box in the box.
The techno bezel contrasts nicely with the back panel. It has a glossy mirror finish and a completely flat surface that allows the phone to stand on its own and rest securely in the palm of your hand. Overall, we would say that the Tecno Camon 20 Premier is well built and definitely worth the price.
On the back is a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch main camera sensor with phase stabilisation, phase detection autofocus and laser. Alongside this, there is a 108-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and close-up macro capabilities. The phone has a dedicated ring flash that can help with macro photography.
This is an interesting imaging system from a company that has quickly proven its ability to innovate cameras, and we'll take a closer look at it in our review.
