Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has died after a long battle with stage four cancer, his family said today in a public statement and video.

Tekno previously revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer last August and has been regularly updating his community on his condition as he undergoes treatment and creates content on YouTube.

In a video released on June 30, Techno's father described a final posthumous message written for the occasion, titled "So Long Nerds." It was filled to the brim with the creator's dry and often dark humor, but served as a final "thank you" to everyone who has supported the Minecraft star over the years.

“Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had 100 more lives, I think I'd be a technoblade every time. Because those years were the happiest years of my life," said Tekno.

“I hope you enjoyed my content and I made a few of you laugh. I hope you all continue to live long, prosperous and happy lives because I love you. Technoblade is published.

Tekno, whose real name is Alex, explained in his post how the proceeds from last year's merchandise and other "sales" were used to send his siblings to college if they chose to attend. To thank the audience for giving her such a good time, she is shown a slide show of pictures from different times during her treatment.

After Tekno's last post, his father revealed how he planned to record and record the video before his death, but his illness and other factors prevented it. According to her father, she wrote the message from her bed and died about eight hours later.

"He was the most amazing kid one could ever dream of," said Technoblade's father. “I miss Technoblade. Thank you for everything. You meant a lot to him.

The Technoblade family will continue to operate their product store, with all proceeds from orders going to their favorite charity, the Sarcoma Foundation of America, as they want to "spread their message". This included the release of the most Technoblade-style collection 'So Long Freaks' celebrating his life.
