Vivo has contacted Chinese social media platform Weibo to discuss this year's Boao Forum for Asia event, flag 91Mobiles . In the post, the company appears to be teasing the vivo X Fold 2, saying that the device will be the "world premiere for Asia at the Boao Forum".
While no details about the next generation foldable device have been revealed, the company does use some of the phone's specifications. According to the article, the vivo X Fold 2 is "light and slim". The manufacturer also claims that the device has the "most powerful foldable display at the moment". But the takeaway from this post is that the company plans to reveal more details about the phone at its Boo Forum for Asia.
Interestingly, a social media post indicates that more information will be available in April. However, as you can see in the image, the Boao Forum Asia Conference banner states that the event is scheduled for March 28-31.
Vivo X Fold 2 is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, making it the first foldable device this year. The phone is also believed to have a 4,800mAh battery.
