Joel Mull
Between the ages of ten and sixteen, Joel studied at the Stockholm School of Music and spent most of his time playing the keyboard and singing in various capacities. Joel came to electronic music through Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. Like many dance music artists today, his early musical explorations provided a solid foundation upon which he could continue to build. In 1991, at an outdoor riff party in Stockholm, Joel came across a style of music he had never heard before. After discovering techno, he discovered his passion. Soon after, Joel started buying mostly house and techno in Stockholm's record stores. But Adam learned about beer at school and spent his lunch break teaching Joel how to mix and play at home with a pair of Technic 1210 records. In 1993, Joel purchased an Insonic model and DJ equipment and has since confidently entered the field of electronic music. In 1995, Joel found inspiration to pursue a full-time career as a DJ. Since then he has continued to expand his musical background with a variety of productions and a selection of top record labels. After many releases on various labels around the world, Joel felt it was time to take the lead in music and in 1998 a new project was born - “Inside Records”. Since then there has been a steady stream of 12-inch releases featuring quality dancefloor techno from the Stockholm studio. The duo worked as a double safety session with Adam Beyer and received an overwhelming response to their release. You Joel. As a DJ and live DJ, Joel has performed on many stages around the world. He has become an artist to watch and follow. Joel Mull is a successful example of a modern techno artist.
