GROSSE POINT, Mich., April 11, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Broad Arrow Group (BAG), a Hagerty Company (NYSE: HGTY ), is pleased to share a lineup of 10 luxury collectible vehicles on display at the opening of The Broad Arrow Group booth on Techno Classica. Essen from April 12 to 16 in Essen, Germany (Hall 1, Stand 324). The new German manager and automotive specialist Bastian Voigt will kick things off. Car highlights include a 1967 Toyota 2000 GT in Pegasus White offered for €890,000.
Sold new in Japan in 1967, the first year of production, this example, VIN 10164, was ordered in Pegasus White with black interior upholstery. Like most 2000 GTs, it is a right-hand drive car, as most cars were sold in Japan. The car remained in Japan until 2013, when it had only two owners. It was then sold to the UK where it had one enthusiastic owner before being sold to the current German owner in 2015. The car has the original engine with the same numbers and was restored and repainted in Japan around 20 years ago. The original condition is intact. state White pegasus.
Another great post-war sports car for sale in Essen is the 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America , which sold for €1,100,000 and is an excellent example of Lancia's most famous post-war sports car. The Lancia, which has recently benefited from a major restoration to competition level, also features the highly sought after and rare hard windows, soft flat top and side mirrors for all-weather touring.
Another exciting post-war sports car for sale at Techno Classica Essen is a 1981 BMW M1 offered for €550,000, one of the last examples to be built and delivered to England in January 2018, according to BMW Classic . 1981. The M1 was not available in right-hand drive, this car was of course a left-hand drive version that was later sold in Switzerland, where it was owned by a wealthy Iranian expatriate. The M1 was then exported to Germany in the summer of 2005 and sold to the current owner shortly thereafter. Due to its exceptional condition, the car was invited to a major international competition and presented at an exclusive private exhibition in London, before being presented at Classic Days at Schloss Dyck.

On offer is a 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster for €320,000: one of approximately 171 narrow-body Speedsters built. Delivery to Sweden, to Germany since 1993, four new owners, good documentation, including service book, original steering wheel, only 29,288 km.
1991 Ferrari Testarossa offered for €165,000: one example delivered by its original German owner, fully documented with order forms, new car invoice and service book. Excellent condition, 37,145 km, kit and jack included.
1995 Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited , offered for €115,000 - one of 951 Limiteds built (originally 500) powered by a 322hp M119 5.0L 32-valve V8 engine painted in Gloss Silver (744) with Black and green leather interior, available only on limited edition Porsche cars with just over 51,500 km. The best sports car "Wolf in sheep's clothing".
