Tecno Unveils Colour Changing Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition
NAIROBI, Kenya, September 9. Smartphone manufacturer Tecno has launched Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, the first smartphone with light detection technology.
A technology called polychromatic photoisomerism, also known as "solar", allows mobile phones to change color when exposed to sunlight, breaking the traditional limits of single- or dual-color coloring on mobile phones.
The Mondrian Edition is part of the Camon 19 series, which includes the Camon 19 and Camon 19 Pro, as well as the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G that was launched in June.
Created in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), a 20th-century art icon inspired by the telephone, Dutch artist and theorist Piet Mondrian is best known for the De Stijl movement, which explored visually perceived reality as a subject. and form is reduced to its most basic elements.
Alex Liu, Regional Marketing Manager of Tecno Mobile in Kenya, said at the launch that the new addition to the Camon 19 series is in line with the company's commitment to fostering innovation in both technology and the arts.
"We've taken everything our users love from the Camon series; The unique camera design and ultra-thin bezels create a smartphone experience that offers a unique aesthetic never before seen on a smartphone," said Liu.
The 8GB RAM phone packs 5GB RAM with optional support for up to 256GB internal storage and a 6.8-inch full-definition (FHD) display with a wide-gamut display.
The Mondrian Edition has a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP super night camera, a 50MP portrait camera and a 2MP bokeh camera for blurring backgrounds. The 32MP Super Selfie Clear camera features a new Sky Shop mode that lets you change the sky to your liking, as well as AI Beauty, Portrait and Super Night modes.
The 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support allows you to fully charge the phone in 65 minutes.
