Oppo ColorOS 13 Beta For Reno8 Pro 5G And F21 Pro Now Available: Heres How To Get
Last month, Oppo started rolling out the global version of ColorOS 13 for the Oppo Find X5 Pro and Find F5, and plans to update more than 20 devices in the coming months. The company has now announced a beta version of ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 for the Reno8 Pro 5G and F21 Pro.
ColorOS 13 brings many new features such as watercolor design and map style layout. The latest version of ColorOS also marks the advent of the company's dynamic compute engine, which developers say helps increase battery life, refine the user interface, and improve memory management.
Oppo says the new OS also improves on the existing Always View feature and brings support for Canvas, Insights, and Bitmoji. It also introduces a new Spotify tool that allows users to control playback, switch between music, and view currently playing songs.
Users in India will be able to check Swiggy and Zomato data without turning on the screen. In addition, there is an Auto Pixelate feature that automatically detects and blurs photos and profile names in chat screenshots.
If you want to give ColorOS 13 beta a try, open your phone's Settings app and go to Device info. Then click at the top of the page, open the three-dot menu at the top right, and go to "Experience". After that, enter your data and click "Apply now".
When the beta is available, users will be notified and then they can install ColorOS 13 via a software update.
