According to a new report, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S24 will introduce next-generation AI features, including text-to-picture functionality.
According to sources who spoke to Sam Mobile, the Korean company is eyeing the Google Pixel 8 with several new AI-focused features. This includes an open source AI text-to-image tool like DALL-E 2 or Stable Diffusion, better speech-to-text messaging, and perhaps even a smarter Bixby chatbot. The new phone will have features "taken directly from ChatGPIT and Google Bard," the report said.
However, the story does not detail how these features will add up to a user-friendly experience for smartphone owners.

Google has streamlined complex AI processes into some custom apps on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, with mixed results. On the bright side, the new Magic Blur tool in Google Photos creates five different edited photos and lets you choose the best one, which is how the DALL -E 2 works. The call behavior also depends on the improved assistant skill. Speak persuasively. On the other hand, the Pixel 8's AI-powered Face Unlock doesn't work well in low-light situations.
What about Samsung's attempts at similar AI capabilities? We'll see options for creating text-to-image mobile wallpapers or Samsung's built-in drawing tools. I can imagine an AI-powered version of Pen-Up drawing software that automatically completes or refines your drawings.
A smarter Bixby can help users navigate their new phone more easily. For example, set a sleep mode that changes your phone's settings with a simple request. Samsung phones are so rich that you need expertise to fully understand everything a Galaxy phone does. Inspired by ChatGPT, Bixby's version wraps it all up and lets users get the most out of their smartphones.
This is possible because Samsung's new Exynos 2400 processors are more efficient and powerful with AI processing performance. What matters is how Samsung integrates new AI tools and integrates computing power with everyday phone use. Just having a chatbot app doesn't excite people like Google's Best Photos app.
Like Google, Samsung's hardware leaks haven't been very exciting, so the Galaxy S24's new AI features can be cited as a highlight for the device. Apart from the new chip, the S24 Ultra will see the same 5,000mAh battery and the same size as all three phones (S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra), according to tester Ice Universe.
We're three months away from the expected announcement date, so I'm sure Samsung will make some announcements in preparation for the launch, at least in the camera department where the Korean company is trying to compete with Google and Google. Apple's latest technological breakthroughs.
