OPPO Find N3 Flip Takes Aim At Galaxy Z Flip 5 With Borrowed OnePlus Features

OPPO entered the clamshell market last year with the release of the Find N2 Flip. This device is also the first time OPPO has released a foldable phone outside of China. This year, the company launched the OPPO Find N3 Flip with a new design and some OnePlus fan favorites. And yes, like its predecessor it will also be launched globally.
The Find N3 Flip looks distinctly OnePlus, with a signature Hasselblad camera that's hard to miss. If you look closely, you'll notice that there's a notch next to the notification slider, a world first for an OPPO phone and a feature the company inherited from its OnePlus team. Looking inside, you'll again stumble upon familiar hardware that you've already seen on OnePlus phones. Let's just say that if OnePlus releases a foldable flip phone on top of the bookish OnePlus Open rumours, OPPO has pretty good plans to copy it.
Features of Flip OPPO Find N3
The Find N3 retains the 3.26-inch vertical screen display. Last year, the screen was bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Now, however, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a slightly larger 3.4-inch display. The Motorola Razr Plus has grown to 3.6 inches, so OPPO is no longer the leader in case size.

However, the Find N3 Flip's external screen is not so small now allowing interaction with "widget apps" such as WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), Google Maps, Spotify and Google Calendar. The company will support more widgets in the future. You can still play with the interactive pets on the cover, but they are now displayed in 3D instead of 2D. When folding the device you can find more wallpapers and widgets to play with.
The main attraction inside is the foldable 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz. Creases in the screen are almost invisible thanks to OPPO's gap-free hinges, which make the phone look flat. OPPO claims to have tested the Find N3 Flip up to 400,000 times. You'll also find the phone waterproof with an IPX4 rating, which is slightly less reliable than the Galaxy Z Flip 5's IPX8 rating.

Inside, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, an octa-core flagship chip that competes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Find N2 comes with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W wired charging Flip Flip to find N3. The battery is still the largest of any foldable battery and OPPO says you can expect a 50% charge in about 23 minutes. You also get a charger in the case of the phone, which is rare these days. Unfortunately, the Find N3 Flip does not support wireless charging.
Elsewhere, the fingerprint scanner is still on one side of the power button. On the other hand, the notification slider is different and allows you to easily switch between profiles without sounds, rings and vibrations

The Hasselblad-tuned OPPO main camera features a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and a 32MP telephoto lens. Not only are there three camera sensors, just like the OnePlus 11, but they're arranged in a circle, reminiscent of OnePlus' flagship camera island.
Thanks to its form factor, the Find N3 Flip has a flexform mode. So when you fold your phone, the image preview is at the top and the controls are at the bottom You can also raise your hand to take a selfie.
Find OPPO N3 Flip price and availability
So far, OPPO has only released the Find N3 Flip in China. The 12GB RAM and 256GB RAM version is priced at 6,799 Yuan (approximately US$932), while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at 7,599 Yuan (approximately US$1,042).
The company has promised that the Find N3 Flip will launch globally soon. The Find N2 Flip will cost £849 (~$1,131) when it's available outside of China, and we expect the Find N3 Flip to have the same price.
