Oppo's Next Find N3 Flip Phone Could Be The First With A Telephoto Lens
The Oppo Find N3 Flip has been leaked with new renders showing an improved design compared to Oppo's last foldable. The new images also reveal the new camera of the Oppo Find N3.
This report came from Yogesh Brar and Digital Chat Station on Weibo, though the original reports have since been deleted (via Android Authority ). They show off the design of the Oppo Find N3 Flip with a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera. Oppo has partnered with Hasselblad on its high-end smartphones, including the Oppo Find X5 Pro and Oppo Find X6 Pro.
The Oppo Find N3 Flip is said to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will also sport a 3-inch external display similar to current foldable devices. The cameras are said to be a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 32MP telephoto. The same 32MP selfie camera as before is expected to return.
If these images are accurate, the Oppo Find N3 Flip will be the first flip-type device to offer photography performance comparable to conventional smartphones.
Sure, you'll find cameras on other foldable devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Pixel Fold, but those are book-like foldable devices with a larger surface area and more room for components. On the other hand, chips like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Motorola Razr Plus stick to the dual rear camera design.
Oppo's Find N2 Flip already impressed us with its camera prowess, TechRadar's Oppo Find N2 Flip review shows how Oppo's software prowess and custom processing make the camera as good as its peers.
If the Oppo Find 3 Flip comes with a telephoto lens, it could be the first foldable camera for camera enthusiasts. If you don't mind Oppo's ColorOS, and I certainly don't, you'll appreciate it when it launches.
