Let's be honest. EDM: So can you blame some of the biggest names in dance music for trying to find their hidden testimonies? On day two of Ultra Music Festival, Oliver Heldens and Deadmau5 took over the Megastructure to deliver some of the weekend's most exciting techno sets including Hi-Lo and Testpilot. Eric Prydz performs under the techno name Syrez D to alternate with Drumcode frontman Adam Beyer.
But the biggest winner on Ultra's second day was probably Testo, whose 2005 trance classic 'Adagio For Strings' took over the Dutch DJ's main stage while Hi-Lo and Test Pilot performed back-to-back sets. Whether you like T-Stone's return to EDM or not, he's certainly left a legacy that speaks for itself.

Hi-Here is a B2B pilot project
Deadmau5 (aka Testpilot) last played Megastructure for Trance State in 2016. Metalla opened and closed with Motörhead's Ace of Spades. But when Joel Zimmerman puts his test pilot hat on, he's pretty brutal. ADM DJ Oliver Heldens, along with his techno alter ego Hi-Lo, are the first to reintroduce duo Megastructure's long-lost dark techno playlist. Bass pounded endlessly and mercilessly until there was nothing left to give. The duo previously released a bass-melting remix of Bjarki's "I Wanna Go Bang" and used vocal samples that sound like wolves howling in their sleep. At the end of the set, Zimmerman dropped a remix of "Sometimes Things, Whatever" and Tiesto's iconic track "Adagio For Strings." Albert-Albert
"Want to have a little dream with me? Armin Van Buuren yelled at the crowd before playing an unreleased song with similar lyrics. A Dutch DJ performed to a sold out crowd on the main stage while Red Mohawked Aliens danced in front of the stage. Dubbed the "King of Trance" by audiences, his hypnotic visuals suit both introverts and heavy beats. He made his debut on stage in 2012 on the show This Is What It Feels Like, taking the audience on a journey of techno, bass drop and a hilarious remix of Sweet Boy. . Mary Gibson
Tiesto
The fan-favorite Tisto collection features track after track that combines old and new hits and drum 'n' bass sounds. The Dutch DJ played a dubstep mix of Kill Bill, SZA's Of The Week, Can't Feel My Face and HBO's haunting White Lotus . With a discography spanning decades, Eagle Ears fans should note that Adagio For Strings, released 20 years ago, produced smoke, fireworks, lasers and of course crowd cheers. Mary Gibson

Between illness, travel delays and the pandemic, Swedish producers Adam Beyer and Syrez D (aka Erik Prydes Techno) reuniting on Ultra has been a nearly five-year challenge. But that was all in the past as the two quickly made up for the rest. The Swedish techno duo worked well, with Beyer correcting Prydz's penchant for trance arpeggios while Prydz didn't let it get too dark. However, the bass gets darker as it works its magic, and two additional effects are added to the treble build-up. Strobe lights flash as time slows down and lasers sweep across the stage as it deepens, allowing each track to take the listener on a long journey. Albert-Albert

Alesso made his main stage debut with Tov Lo's 2015 hit "Heroes (We Could Be)", a progressive house jam featuring new music. Highlights include an unreleased intro track with Ty Dolla $ign, a remix of "When I'm Gone" with Katy Perry and "In Control" with Calvin Harris. As a special guest, Swedish singer Zara Larsson took the stage to collaborate with the DJ on the Words show. But Alesso's greatest proof of his place among ADM's greats was his collaboration with One Republic on 2013's If I Lose Myself. Everyone who sat by the waterfront like a VIP, queued for pizza or heard the first note in front of the stage sang every line for him. He ended on a nostalgic note, playing "Calling (Lose My Mind)" to close the show after playing new music "Look Into Our Hearts" with Martin Garrix. Mary Gibson
"How are you Miami? How are you?” says Carl Cox as the team prepares for a hybrid set, “To the Darkness of the Megastructure. We've already lost a minute; some looked a little nervous, but like a superhero, Cox played the boat horn, then the bass. Cox, first he and Frankie Way- in "Watch the Sunrise" blew up the speakers. Techno is a simple but powerful sound. Nobody knows that better than Cox. Cox dedicated themselves to stadium techno an hour, punchy bass, soft hi-hats and not much else, adding drums through the mix structure, patterns and effects, the tune was pure simplicity. Marshmello, known for his marshmallow-shaped helmet, ended day two of the Ultra on the main stage. To the surprise of his fans, he brought three seemingly random special guests, including rapper Glorilla, who sang "FNF (Let's Go)" and Roddy Rich, who sang "The Box." His last guest was Puerto Rican rapist Faruco of Pepa's fame, who performed the unreleased song "Esta Vida." In general, the reception of the closing ceremony by the viewers of the live broadcast was not very warm. Despite having a good catalog of music at his disposal, fans seem disappointed that Marshmello didn't bring much to this set. When he said "I'm happy" at the end of his brutal collaboration with Bastille, he could have expressed how his fans felt; " I want you to be happy... but I know that means I have to go."Mary Gibson
