TL; DR

  • Several promotional renders of the Galaxy A24 have been leaked.
  • Renderings reveal almost everything about the design.
  • Renderings are accompanied by mobile phone specifications.

After announcing the Galaxy A54 and A34, Samsung is preparing to announce another Galaxy A series of phones. That phone could be the affordable Galaxy A24.

It seems that some promotional renders of the Galaxy A24 have been spotted by the gadget publication. The rendering not only reveals almost everything about the device, but also shows that it has mixed in some features of the A24.

Externally, Samsung seems to be implementing its 2023 design philosophy in the A24. As a result, the A23's camera hump is gone, instead of just having a camera hump on the lens. Speaking of cameras, it looks like this model will have a triple camera setup instead of the four that its predecessor had. Based on the picture, there can be four color options including black, burgundy, green and silver.

Moving on to the specs: the A24 is likely to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ SuperAMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Such a display would be impressive for one of Samsung's cheapest phones. The phone is designed for the MediaTek Helio G99- processor designed. In comparison, the A23 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor This processor can be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory with expandable microSD memory

As for the camera, the A24 is expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel secondary camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera will increase slightly from 8GB to 13GB.

Finally, the device can have a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There's no word on whether the Galaxy A24 will launch in the US, but considering the A23 has already arrived in the US, it's very likely that this phone will too.
