Techno Pioneer Richie Hawtin Launches PhD Scholarship In Electronic Music
Richie Hawtin, known as techno producer and DJ Plastikman, has created an electronic music scholarship for the University of Huddersfield.
Applications for the Richie Hawtin Doctoral Fellowship in Electronic Music, Culture and Production are open until 10 February. The PhD degree starts in September 2023 and lasts three years full-time.
Successful candidates will be selected by the university in partnership with Richie Hawtin, who will also provide teaching support as part of the fellowship.
