Vivo is gearing up to launch the X90 series in China. We got our first look at the high-end X90 Pro+ thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station , who leaked live images of the device before the event. The leaked image shows a red leather cover, metallic stripes, and a large ZEISS-branded camera setup on the back.

This device may feature a 144Hz AMOLED display
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to feature a center punch hole, thin bezels, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It will have a leather back surface, a redesigned camera cover with the ZEISS branding and a metal strap in the middle. The phone may get a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1440Hz PWM dimming.
May be equipped with a 64 megapixel periscope camera
The Vivo X90 Pro+ may be supported by a 1.0-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 primary sensor, a 48MP IMX598 IMX598 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP IMX578 portrait lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OVBzoomscope camera. Specifically, it may have a 32 MP selfie camera.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC can power the device
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will run Origin OS based on Android 13 (in China). Under the hood, the device packs a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Vivo X90 Pro+: Pricing and Availability
The price and availability of the Vivo X90 Pro+ will be revealed when it goes on sale alongside other smartphones in the series. The device could be launched early next month.
