Apple released iOS 16.2 beta 2 yesterday While the first beta has already introduced some new features like the much-anticipated Freeform app, Apple still has some tweaks and fixes that they've been working on for the past few weeks. Here they are.

The most notable feature of iOS 16.2 beta 2 was revealed by Filipe Esposito of 9to5Mac . According to him, Apple will introduce a custom accessibility mode to provide a "simplified" experience for iPhone and iPad users. This new mod replaces the basic iOS interface with a simpler interface, making it more suitable for users who may find it too difficult.

For example, when special accessibility mode is enabled, users will be able to adjust things like the user interface and large text, available apps on the home screen, allowed contacts, and access to hardware buttons. A password can be set to prevent others from changing these settings. Triple-clicking the side button (or home button) toggles Quick Accessibility mode on and off.

Additionally, iOS 16.2 beta 2 enables 5G with Jlo and Airtel carriers in India . Apple announced it last week and it is now available to developers using the latest beta version.

You'll also get the following changes with iOS 16.2 beta 2:

New animations in the Music app when the Play/Pause/Next/Previous buttons are pressed;
New medicine widget for iPhone lock screen with different size options;
The most frequent updates are linked for direct action in the settings.

Finally, Apple fixed an annoying bug that prevented users from switching from the camera to the iPhone's lock screen.

This beta follows features that arrived a few weeks ago, such as iPadOS external display support, a new switch for when users cancel the SOS emergency code, and a new architecture for the Home app.
