TECNO Launches Budget Smartphone For Rs 15,499
TECNO Mobile, the brand of TRANSSION India, on Friday expanded its POVA range with the launch of its latest 5G-capable smartphone, TECNO POVA Neo 5G.
The smartphone has a 6000mAh battery, 50MP dual rear camera, 6.8-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate touchscreen. It comes in two color options: Sprint Blue and Sapphire Black.
Commenting on the new addition of 5G to the POVA group, Arijit Talpatra, CEO of TECNO Mobile India said: “According to the insights of industry analysts, the 5G industry has grown by 198% in the first half (H1). Half of 2022. Half of 2021, as it acquired 5G devices are on a large part of the sector.India is the 3rd largest market for 5G smartphones in the world and there is a lot of 5G to catch up.To face this, we are creating a comprehensive 5G portfolio within the range of POVA products.

The device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU for graphics. In addition to the 6000mAh battery, the smartphone also features an 18W USB Type-C fast charging charger, which TECNO says provides up to 4.5 hours of YouTube playback with just 19 minutes of charging.
It also features 7GB of customizable RAM which can boost average application running speeds by up to 43% and 128GB of internal storage with a dedicated slot for storage expansion up to 1TB . The 50MP camera also offers Ultra Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Video Bokeh, 2K Video Mode, and more.
Priced at Rs 15,499, POVA Neo 5G pre-order starts on Friday in most outlets. Sale starts September 26th.
