One of the things that initially attracted me to this model was the use of bamboo in the driver. According to Oppo, it offers a "beautifully detailed high-frequency listening experience" with minimal distortion.
The material itself is 60% lighter, 56% stiffer and 63% more flexible, which should help improve the listening experience. We'll figure it out later, but it's definitely new material.
The brand also offers excellent battery life. Users will be able to get seven hours of use from a single earbud, and the included charging case will provide a total of 30 hours. Again, we'll talk about my findings on this later.
Elsewhere, you'll find that the headphones are IP55 rated for water and dust resistance. It should be more than enough to withstand the rigors of everyday life without causing any discomfort to the user.
Multi-point connections are provided for use with multiple devices, while Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures low-latency gaming. Moreover, everything happens in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 40 kHz. It's wider than the human hearing spectrum, which means you also hear some ultrasonic and infrasound sounds for a fuller experience.

Okay, let's talk about how they work in practice. Let's start with the most important thing: sound quality. This is the main function of most headphones.
Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality on offer here. Overall sound quality is good, with plenty of high-end detail and good bass performance. I can't say for sure that it all depends on the bamboo driver, but it certainly lives up to the claims made about it.
Overall, it's a pretty average street sound profile, but it does the job well. You will also be happy with this harmless nature as it cannot be changed. The app you use with them, HeyMelody, in case you were wondering, leaves a lot to be desired.
No special leveling potential. Instead, users are left with some very specific settings. Boost Bass and Natural Inspiration are enough to reproduce low and high frequencies, but don't expect much change.
My dissatisfaction with the app extends to other features. For example, Oppo Alive Sound is a user-configurable setting in the app. And yet I absolutely cannot understand why you turn it off at all. The difference is night and day. Anyway, it took forever since I got them.
There are still good episodes. The control layout for noise reduction and transparency modes is clear and concise, and it also lets you switch between different ANC levels.
Yes, and while I'm at it, the ANC is really strong. Using the "loud" mode suppresses many peripheral sounds, including the conversations of office colleagues.
Then press the headphone controls. Again, I really have nothing to complain about. It worked well, with minimal random errors or double clicks. That's a good thing, because using touchscreen headphones can get boring quickly.
In terms of battery life, they are also very good. I had trouble getting the specified seven hours from the start; In my experience, six hours is probably more accurate. As for the question. I have no idea. Suffice it to say, it lasted long enough to lose count, so it's unlikely to be a serious problem.

Are these headphones finally worth it? And the answer, simply, is yes. For £79 you get some very good headphones from a leading technology company.
Of course I'm sad. The app is woefully outdated and I would have liked more hands-on control over the EQ. But this will not bother everyone. If you're only interested in high-quality sound, they might just scratch the surface.
Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro Review. Alternative options
I really only recommend a pair of headphones here. The Nothing Ear (2) has become my first choice for most people, thanks to a sound profile that punches above its weight for its price.
At £129, they're a lot more expensive than these Oppo headphones. But I think the change is balanced and justifiable, especially if you want control.
Elsewhere, the Sony WF-C700N headphones are also worth mentioning. They have a great app and great battery life and are another great option if you're looking for a more mainstream brand.
