This energetic four-part documentary from director Olivier Richard takes an immersive and personal approach to exploring the underground techno music scenes of Taiwan and China , following various DJs as they search for the keys to rebuilding the community. "BPM ECSTASY" will be launched on November 11th on the TaiwanPlus Docs YouTube channel and will be released to European audiences on November 14th via the ARTE YouTube channel, website and social media.

BPM ECSTASY delves into the once-thriving techno communities of Taipei and Beijing , taking a close look at the state of the subculture's DJ scene in a post-pandemic world. The series features popular DJs such as SUNK, tamiX and Elvis. T and many others tell a common story.

This series brings together unique subcultures, fostering a sense of global community.
