Vivo Y36, Vivo Y02t Get Price Drop In India Months After Official Launch
The Vivo Y36 was launched in India in June this year in a single RAM and storage configuration. At the time of launch, the smartphone was priced at Rs. 16,999 domestically for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y02t was launched in May 2023 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Vivo has announced lower prices for both smartphones months after the launch. Vivo Y36 is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC and Vivo Y02T is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
In a post on X (earlier on Twitter), Vivo announced a price cut of Rs. 1000 on the Vivo Y36. The smartphone has been launched at a price of Tk 9999. 16,999 is now Rs. 15,999 only for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. In addition, Vivo offers additional discounts. 1000 on ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, One Card, IDFC Bank, Federal Bank, Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indus Bank Credit Card EMI Offers: This effective value is Rs. 14,999. However, the additional offer is only valid until September 30.
On the other hand, the price of Vivo Y02t has been reduced by Rs. 500, which brings the price down to Rs. 9,499 compared to the original price of Rs. 9,999 only for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. However, there is no additional bank offer to buy this smartphone.
Both the Vivo Y36 and Vivo Y02t are available for purchase on the Amazon India website as well as Vivo's online store. And let's mention that the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and has a 5000 mAh battery.
The Vivo Y36 features a 6.64-inch HD LCD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, an octa-core processor. In terms of optics, the dual rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the Vivo Y02t has a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
