It looks like Wear OS is finally on its way to a renaissance. This year, more OEM partners are working on smartwatch variants based on Google's Android-compatible smartwatch platform, and the good news is that we can expect them to hit global markets soon. After revealing the OPPO/OnePlus Wear OS smartwatch, we now have a leak showing the Xiaomi Wear OS smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro.

A new account dubbed MysteryLupin has shared images and specifications of the alleged Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro.

According to leaked information, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is a smartwatch with a stainless steel body and Gorilla Glass on the front. It will be available in two variants, a silver leather strap and a black rubber strap. It also has a rotating crown.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It will reportedly feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. The battery capacity is said to be 500 mAh, lasting up to 72 hours. In terms of water resistance, it is said to be rated at 5 ATM and will also be offered with an optional LTE option.

The software features of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro may include exercise tracking, ECG, heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, and body temperature tracking.

The most interesting thing is that this smartwatch runs on Wear OS/MIUI. The leader also shared this photo.

Furthermore, in a later comment, the source also mentioned that the smartwatch could cost €349 (~$372).

Wear OS availability and leaked prices in the EU indicate that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is ready for a global launch. It will be the company's second smartwatch powered by Google, the original being the Mi Watch from 2019 and the first to be launched outside of China.

LeakerrealMlgmXyysd tells us that Xiaomi will not launch this smartwatch in mainland China and that it is only intended for the global market.

It remains to be seen when the company will officially launch this smartwatch. Given the clean paint and leaked prices, we think it's not too far away. Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi Watch 13T in Europe on September 26, which will be a great opportunity for the global launch of the smartwatch.
