Elon Musk's new biography written by Walter Isaacson reveals that the "shy boy" has not two, but three children with his ex, Grimes. The third child's name is Techno Mechanic (aka Tau) and his whereabouts are still a mystery.

In May 2020, Grimes and Musk welcomed their first child, X Æ A-Xii. Later, in a 2022 interview with Vanity Fair, Grimes revealed that she and Musk had also adopted a daughter, the former Dark Sidel Musk, via surrogate in December. 2021

Musk now has 10 children from three women. Most recently, he and Neuralink CEO Siobhan Zillis welcomed twins in November 2021. "He really wanted smart people to have kids," Zillis said in the book, in which Musk offered to be a sperm donor so that, as Isaacson wrote, "the children belong to him genetically." This fluid exchange apparently coincided with Grimes and Musk who were expecting the birth of their second child. Musk also reportedly did not tell Grimes about the Zilis twins his employee fathered.

Last week, Grimes responded to Isaacson's promotional tweet, asking him to convey a message to Musk about how he and Zillis were preventing him from meeting his son. "Tell Siobhan to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or please tell my lawyer," Grimes wrote in a since-deleted post. “To this day, even though the situation has completely destroyed my family, they won't even let me see photos of these children.”

UPDATE : Grimes released a statement about the situation on Twitter:

Hey, I'd rather not get into this press cycle too much, but I want to get the story straight.
I ended up having a long chat with Siobhan which lasted quite a while. It's not his fault, please don't be angry with him! We respect each other a lot and we are very happy because we have become friends and the children have grown up together.
I sincerely apologize for responding to Walter this way. As you can imagine, this was a very strong reaction to something that was very difficult for me. In the past, the news about the twins was not well received, but now I fully understand what happened and completely forgive the situation.
Women are very suitable for each other. Talking to Siobhan, it was clear that she is a wonderful person and we both want the best for our children.
I want to show how cute little techno is 👽 but my priority is to keep my kids away from public attention,
