TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G And Up To P50k In Prizes Up For Grabs In Iconic Philippines CAMON 20 Pro Series Photography Contest
Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc. (FPPF), in partnership with TECNO, today launched the ICONIC Philippines CAMON 20 Pro Series Photo Contest.
The competition is open to Filipino amateurs, amateurs and professionals and seeks photographs that reflect what it means to be a Filipino. The aim is to highlight the creativity and talent of the participants and convey the typical Filipino spirit.
Applications for participation in the first round are accepted from 11 to 21 July. Five (5) finalists will receive TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G for photography in the final. Finalists compete for places from third to first place. Third place receives 20,000 Philippine pesos; the runner-up receives 30,000 Philippine pesos; and first place receives 50,000 Philippine pesos.
“This competition is timely. It enhances the Filipino spirit, showcases our culture and country, giving Filipino photography enthusiasts and professionals a chance to showcase their talents. Thanks to the generous support of TECNO, we were able to realize this project. Their smartphones can take pictures like traditional cameras,” said Eduwegis Huang, president of FPPF.
FPPF is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion of photography in the Philippines. It is the umbrella organization for photography and photography clubs in the country, with around 2,000 members. FPPF organizes "Southeast Asia's largest and longest-running photography event, PhotoWorld, an annual Asian conference and exhibition that has been running continuously for 25 years."
How to Enter the Legendary CAMON Photo Contest
The qualifying round will be held from 11 to 21 July 2023. Interested participants must register and submit up to five (5) digital portraits showing what a Filipino looks like. They must share their photos on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtags #IconicPhilippines #TECNOPhilippines #CAMON20ProPhotoContest . Social media posts must be visible.
Five (5) finalists will be selected by a jury of photography experts and a TECNO PH representative. Each of the finalists will receive a TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G smartphone and advance to the final, where they will present new photographic portraits of Filipinos taken with the CAMON 20 Pro 5G, with the iconic theme of the Philippines. This gives them the opportunity to explore the outstanding features of the legendary CAMON 20 Pro 5G portrait camera.
Entries are selected for their creativity, topic involvement and impact. The grand prize winner will be announced online on the FPPF and TECNO Mobile FB pages.
