Samsung's Refreshed Smart Monitor M8 Gets A $100 Discount
The refurbished Samsung M8 smart monitor is currently $100 less than retail, and you can buy it now for $600 if you need a multifunction display. This is the new version of the monitor that Samsung presented at CES 2022, which includes Smart TV and Internet of Things (IoT) functions. Like its predecessors, the new M8 lets you stream content from services like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ just like you would on any other Smart TV.

But you can also use it to edit documents, browse the web, and anything else you would do on your computer without having to connect it to a separate PC as it comes with Microsoft 365 apps. The updated mode feature also allows you to use the monitor to access other computers if the necessary documents or program are on the other computer. And if you have a Samsung phone or tablet, you can also use Samsung DeX on screen to connect.
Unlike most other Samsung smart TVs, the M8 has an IoT hub that lets you control smart home products with SmartThings. You can turn off the lights or adjust the thermostat temperature directly from the screen. The M8 monitor features a detachable SlimFit camera that records in Full HD and can track and focus on your face to participate in video calls. Finally, the product has built-in Alexa support, so you can issue voice commands from anywhere in the room.
When Samsung unveiled the new M8 in May, Hong Chang, executive vice president of visual display business at Samsung Electronics, said, "On a single monitor, users can enjoy personalized entertainment and gaming, performance, design, comfort and convenience. ".
