Vivo X Flip In For Review
Say hello to vivo X Flip, the manufacturer's first attempt at a foldable device that looks great from every angle.
It comes in a large box with a 44W charger, USB cable, and a two-piece transparent case that doesn't hide the design of the phone.
Vivo X Flip competes with other folding cases on the market. The Galaxy Z is slightly larger than the Flip4, but the vivo has a bigger screen and a bigger battery.
The screen protector is much more useful than the Galaxy. This is a 3-inch panel with its own version of Android with a bunch of apps and widgets. It's not as feature-rich as Motorola's review, but it's well ahead of Samsung. It is also interesting to take selfies on the main camera.
However, the Razr 40 Ultra has an even larger 3.6-inch bezel-less display that takes up a bit more space.
3 inch screen
The foldable display is a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It's slightly smaller than the Razr 40 Ultra's screen, but has a more traditional aspect ratio (Motorola's is 22:9).
Vivo X Flip is a fast phone thanks to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, fast UFS 3.1 memory and vivo Origin operating system.
In terms of cameras, the X Flip includes a main and an ultra-wide as standard, but both sensors have autofocus and Zeiss phase detection setup.

Finally, the vivo X Flip is a beautiful phone. We have the gold model, which is a soft cream color with fiery accents when the light hits it.
The phone is also well shaped and curved on all sides, making it comfortable to hold.

The first Vivo clamshell is a great addition to this segment. And while potential buyers outside of China won't be able to get their hands on it, we'll run our usual tests to see how far vivo goes.
