In recent years, the segment up to €20,000 has seen tough competition. Smartphone manufacturers such as Motorola, OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo, Realme and others that were once dominated by Xiaomi now have several options that offer excellent value for money. From the recently launched Redmi Note 12 to the Motorola G82, here we feature some of the best smartphones you can buy under €20,000.
Redmi Note 12:
The Redmi Note is one of the most popular smartphones in India. Although the Redmi Note 12 is more expensive than its predecessor, it is one of the few phones with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset that works like the Snapdragon 695 chipset. In addition, the non-professional Note series is the first phone to offer 5G connectivity.

The Redmi Note 12 handles everyday tasks admirably and features a 120Hz AMOLED display protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. On the back, you have a 48MP camera with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. Redmi Note 12 comes with 128GB of internal storage and is available in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM which can be purchased for Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively.
Motorola G82
If you want an intimate Android experience, the Motorola G82 is one of the best phones under €20,000. Powered by the popular Snapdragon 695 chipset and a 10-bit 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, this phone comes with Android 12 and Motorola promises an update to Android 13.
With a 50MP OIS primary camera, Motorola G82 is one of the best camera phones in its price category. It has 128GB of internal storage and comes with 6GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. While the 6GB variant retails for Rs 18,999 on Flipkart, if you need more RAM, the phone's 8GB variant is priced at Rs 20,499.
It also supports 13 5G bands and does not require a software update from the company to enable 5G support, unlike other smartphone manufacturers. In terms of price, Motorola G82 is one of the best non-royal phones under €20,000.
Realme 9 SE:
Realme 9 SE (Speed Edition) is a mobile phone for mobile gamers. It's one of the few €20,000 phones on the market that sports the Snapdragon 778G, which is usually found in mid-range devices like None Phone (1) (Review) and the recently released Poco X5 Pro (Review). )

However, the Realme 9 SE comes with an IPS FullHD+ 144Hz LCD display, which may not appeal to some. The phone has a 48MP primary rear camera backed by a 2MP macro sensor and depth sensor, and it lacks an ultra-wide sensor.
Unlike the other phones on the list, the Realme 9 SE runs Android 11, which means that the Android 13 update is likely to be the last major Android update for the phone. If you want a gaming phone that offers great value for money, the Realme 9 SE is the right choice.
Poco X4 Pro:
Poco X4 Pro is one of the few phones under Rs 20,000 in all aspects. It sports a 6.67 inch FullHD+ 120Hz+ AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor that handles everyday tasks with ease.

While the Poco X4 Pro is certainly not the best camera phone out there, it does take decent photos in broad daylight. Compared to the other phones on the list, the Poco X4 Pro offers excellent build quality with a glass sandwich design that is usually found in expensive phones.
Infinix Note 12i phone
If you are on a tight budget and you are looking for an AMOLED screen smartphone under Rs 10,000, then the Infinix Note 12i might be your only option. This phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, and runs Android 12 based on Infinix UI (XOS). On the back, you get a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a QVGA depth camera. The 50MP main sensor takes great photos in daylight and is one of the best camera phones in the €10,000 price range.
It has a 5,000mAh battery and the phone can last all day on a single charge. The Infinix Note 12i comes in one version with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. But even though it only has 4GB of RAM, this phone performs smoothly in day-to-day tasks, with a few glitches here and there. It can be purchased on Flipkart for Rs 9,999.
