Avalon Emerson - scary image

Avalon Emerson, experimental techno producer and prolific DJ, debuts with London producer Bullion on new project The Charm, an incredible story that showcases a never-before-heard new face of talent. . .

A fusion of ideas brought together by close friends and family, the record came about after a creative session between Emerson and his wife Hunter a few years ago. After feedback from Bullion and other musicians in the studio, the track was finally finished and scheduled for release.

Sounding like it's straight out of the '90s charts, the single behind it has a flawless shoegaze vibe, which is beautifully crafted with synths, strings, vocals and drums in an ethereal masterpiece. We look forward to more from The Charm in the coming months.

Slothie - Selfish

Nottingham's Beautiful Sloths have released the lead single from their new album, UGLY , on Friday 3rd March via Method Records. As the rapper explores his own desires, and specifically in relation to his needs, Selfish marks a significant shift in the sound design heard on his 2021 sophomore album, Tyrone .

Returning to the post-punk sound of some of his earlier records, from "Gatekeeper" to "Here We Are," it's a tense, feverish listen that ends in agony at 3 minutes and 13 seconds. .

To promote the release of the new single, Slohi is coming live from theaters to screens around the world with emotional music videos.

If this is a statement of intent that sets the direction for the rest of the album, trust us, we're all for it. Also, Slothai, please.

Bonobo - folding

Bonobos No introduction required. The manufacturer has been bringing us all kinds of unique miniature electronics for years, releasing some really fast trip-hop records. So it's no surprise that his latest album goes in the same direction.

"Folding" is the fusion of two souls. A collaboration that saw Simon Green, the man behind the nickname Bonobo, share a studio with Montreal producer Jack Green. The record leaves its comfort zone and dives a little deeper into the club's sound. The record is driven by four-step techno beats with distorted, distorted synths, always dancing around a vocal sample.

Bonobo's spring and summer schedule promises to be packed this year, especially with this new, more energetic addition to the lineup. Stay updated on his upcoming live shows and be the first to get tickets by following the artist page - here .
