The most popular video on YouTube this year was game creator Technoblade's posthumous message to fans, and Mr. Best became the highest paid YouTuber of 2022.

YouTube has announced the top 10 year-end videos, creators and songs in the United States, as well as the top views worldwide.

Number 1 on the trending videos list was "So Long Nerds," an emotional clip shared on the Technoblade channel where the father of a popular Minecraft content creator announced the death of his son.
