The DJI Mini 3 Pocket Drone joins the ever-growing family of drones.
New York , Dec. Feb. 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- B&H DJI is pleased to announce the recently announced addition of the DJI Mini 3 to its ever-growing family of drones. The Mini 3 is a non-professional version of the Mini 3 Pro that was released last May and is positioned as an affordable entry point for drone photography. The new Mini range is now available in four versions: Mini 3 Pro, Mini 2, Mini SE and now Mini 3.

The DJI Mini 3 is very similar to the Pro version of one of our favorite drones. So we named it our favorite mini drone of 2022. It still has the same chassis that weighs 249g. The Mini 3 features the same 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with native dual ISO and chip-level HDR technology. The f/1.7 aperture and 4-in-1 2.4μm pixel size capture crisp detail and create superb photos even in low light.
The main difference is that the Mini 3 lacks the forward-facing obstacle sensors that its bigger brother has. It also uses OcuSync 2 instead of 3, giving it a shorter 10km range. The DJI Mini 3 comes with a standard intelligent flight battery for a maximum flight time of 38 minutes, which is 7 minutes longer than the Mini 2. The Mini 3 Pro has a length of 12 kilometers and a maximum flight time of 34 minutes.
