Vivo X90 Pro+ Specs Leak: 1Inch Camera Sensor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 & More
The Vivo X90 series is expected to be released by the end of the year. Vivo recently shared some camera samples captured with the company's upcoming 1-inch camera sensor, and they look great, to say the least. However, the specifications of the Vivo X90 Pro+ have been leaked.
This information comes from TechGoing, so take it with a grain of salt. This is not a common source of information, so we don't know how accurate it is.
Vivo X90 Pro+ specs have been leaked, hinting at some very powerful internals.
The source claims that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will have a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display. This display offers QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and curve. It will also appear that a 1440Hz eye protection cutoff chip is included. By the way, this will be the council of the LTP.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is said to power this phone. The source notes that unlike the Vivo X90, the high-end model will not be offered with the Dimensity chip.
Now we come to the fun, the cameras. The 50MP primary camera will have a Sony IMX989V sensor. This will be a 1-inch camera sensor similar to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. We're not sure what the "V" stands for, this sensor might be slightly changed for Vivo.
A 48MP wide-angle camera (Sony IMX598 sensor) will also be included. The same goes for the 50MP selfie camera (Sony IMX578 sensor) and the 64MP Periscope zoom camera (OmniVision OV64A sensor, 3.5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom). The source states that Vivo V2 will also come with an ISP package.
LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage may also be included
Previous reports indicated that LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage would also be included. This would also be a huge step forward as major companies are using LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage these days.
The source also clarified that the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. Based on early leaks, this looks like a really reasonable wizard too. Looks like three Vivo X90 phones are coming, not two.
We still don't know when Vivo plans to launch the Vivo X90 series, but the devices will be available soon.
